Our website is essentially an information service built from data that we at Oakwood Home Finance Limited have collected from third parties. This information is reproduced in its original form or as a reasonable likeness of it, whichever we feel is easier to read.

Our terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of this website and are set out below. Please read them carefully as by using this site you indicate your acceptance of them. If you do not accept these terms you should not use this website.

Introductions to third party firms

If you tell us what your requirements are we, will try to find you an insurance provider who may be able to help you by matching the information you give us and the information supplied to us by the insurance providers we work with. That is our aim and an introduction will only happen if you ask for one. It will be based on a general match between the information you give us and the information supplied to us by the insurance providers we work with. And we will always let you know which insurer will be contacting you.

Any introduction is made in good faith. We cannot guarantee or give you any warranty that the firm we introduce you to will be able to meet your specific needs.

We perform routine checks on the data we receive. We check addresses and telephone numbers to make sure they conform to the normal format, because we might not be able to contact you otherwise. We may also check to see if the product you are interested in is offered by the insurer we introduce you to. Insurers make changes to their products and processes, and we may not be aware of them. Also we can’t be responsible for what they publish on their websites. We have not reviewed any of the sites which we link to, so we suggest you use links to other websites carefully.

Our obligation to you

We do not act as your agent or as the agent for any of the third party companies and services featured on our website. It is your decision whether to use any product or service from one of our partner insurers. We won’t commit you to using any insurer or any product. Our obligation to you ends once we have matched you to an insurer and made the introduction.

Email and communication

We will use the contact details you give us to let you know about features on the website, events or related activities that we think you will find useful. We will send you this information by email or we may use a third party company to do so. If you don’t want to receive these emails please un-tick the box on the contact form, otherwise we will assume you’re happy to receive them. You can also unsubscribe from these emails by using the unsubscribe link in any email you receive.

All email communication and any attachments we send you – whether it is by Oakwood Home Finance Limited, any other of our trading names or a third party company acting on our behalf – are intended only for you, or anyone you may have authorised to receive the mails.

However, if you submit your details they will be passed onto an insurer automatically, and your action is considered as an active invitation to receive a call. We will always let you know the name of the insurer who will be contacting you and they should only call you to discuss the products and services on our website. If you want to know the names of our partner insurers they are available here on the website.

In giving us your details, you are also giving us authority to contact you about other products or services we offer. If you are giving us information about another person you must have their approval to do so.

We are not authorised to offer you financial advice and none of the financial information featured on our website, or accessed by you as a result of a link on the website, should be considered financial advice.

These terms and conditions make up the entire agreement between you and Oakwood Home Finance and override the terms or conditions of any other contract you may propose.

Use of Oakwood Home Finance Limited and these Terms are subject to English law which governs the interpretation and application of all the conditions of use, exclusions and licences outlined above.

The website is intended for a UK audience, so it has not been designed to comply with the regulatory regime and local laws of any other countries.
